about us
I started Something to Remember Events in 2010 after planning my own wedding (so cliche!), with lots of support from my amazing husband. I worked full time while getting the business going, and now solely work for myself (with a few amazing team members at my side)! In 2024 I decided to change the name of the business to Jennifer Drew Events. It took a long time to move forward with the change, but using my name fits my brand and it was time for an update!
I love this business because I get to meet new people, make new connections and learn about relationship dynamics with every new event. With corporate clients, I get to learn about businesses and their goals, and support them while they are celebrating or enjoying their clients and employees. With weddings, I get to spend the day with people on the happiest day of their life. I mean, really think about that. I get to make their dreams come to life, and then be there to see them soak it all in. My favorite part is giving them a hug at the end of the night, and seeing the glow of the day in their faces.
A little bit about me…I have two amazing kids and a husband (who is also our CFO) of 16 years! Cohen is almost 13 years old and in 7th grade this year. He is quirky and unique, soaking up books and video games in his free time! Lainey is 10, going on 15 – she’s smart, sassy and capable of doing anything she puts her mind to! I am well aware that I have RBF (if you know what that is, then we’re on the same page – if you don’t, let’s leave it there), and my face is incapable of hiding how I really feel. I enjoy exploring the food and drink scenes in Columbus, I love to dance (it’s the reason I like to be a guest at weddings!), I’m a bit of an adventure seeker, and I am generally a “what you see is what you get” kind of person.

Hi! I am Angela Sabatini, one of the Lead Planners at Jennifer Drew Events. I am fortunate enough to have been on both sides of Jennifer Drew Events - both as a former bride and as a planner!
I went to college and got degrees in both Fashion Design and Business, but after five years working in fashion design at a corporate company, I realized my real passion was wedding design. I have not looked back since and have absolutely loved planning and executing weddings and events!
After spending many years in this industry, my passion has only amplified. I cherish the relationships that I build with the couple as we prepare for the best day of their lives. It is an honor to be there every step of the way with them. It’s a trusted partnership and shared experience that I do not take lightly. I love to be part of the pretty, good, bad, emotional, hard and exciting times with you.
My personal life is filled with time spent with my husband, our toddler daughter, Willa, and our two dogs, Pinot and Penne. You can find us making a home cooked meal together or going out for an ice cream treat (likely as an appetizer before a meal). I love to read and aim to read every single day (going on a 4 year streak), and every year my goal is to read more books than the year before.
